For more than three decades, Davide Apollo has been one of Italy’s leading voices in real estate and corporate law, advising domestic and international investors on some of the market’s most complex and high-value transactions.
A graduate in Law from the University of Milan (1988), he began his career at Alemani & Bocchiola, one of Italy’s top corporate law firms, before being admitted to the Milan Bar Association and the International Bar Association in 1992.
Experience and career
Early in his career, he stood out for his ability to combine rigorous legal knowledge with a strong commercial sensibility. In 1994, he founded his first independent practice, focusing on corporate, commercial and bankruptcy law—quickly becoming a trusted advisor in corporate restructuring and high-stakes negotiations.
In 1999, he joined NCTM Law Firm as Partner and Head of the Real Estate Department. During these years, he developed a deep specialisation in real estate investment and development transactions, advising leading Italian and international investors and solidifying his reputation as a strategic dealmaker.
His international outlook is reinforced by two key academic milestones:
- in 2003, he attended the Knauss Business School (University of San Diego); and
- in 2010, he completed advanced executive studies at Harvard Business School, further sharpening his strategic approach to complex, investment-driven legal work.
These experiences strengthened the multidisciplinary and international perspective that now defines his practice.
From 2004 to 2011, he also held the Chair of Contract Law for the Master in Real Estate at Bocconi University, contributing to the formation of the new generation of Italian real estate professionals.
In 2009 he joined the global network of DLA Piper, where he became Equity Partner and Head of the Italian Real Estate Practice, advising on landmark transactions for major market players.
Since 2012, Davide Apollo has been the name partner of Apollo&Associati Law Firm, today one of Italy’s most specialised and respected boutiques in real estate law.
Under his leadership, the firm has become the go-to advisor for institutional investors, asset managers, international funds and developers navigating high-value, highly regulated, or structurally complex transactions.
